Gary M. Kaye – Publisher

Gary Kaye is an award-winning journalist with more than 30 years of experience. He spent 10 years with NBC News as a news writer, editor, and producer. He was with ABC News for 13 years, where he pioneered the network’s coverage of the hi-tech industry on programs including Business World, World News Tonight, World News Now, and World News this Morning. He moved to CNN in 1998, where he brought his expertise in covering technology and business to shows including CNN Newsstand, and New Economy Watch and Digital Jam on CNN/fn.

Along the way, Kaye was the first Director of Television Development for Ziff Davis Publishing, where he created the precursor to ZDTV and TechTV (now G4). At the History Channel, he created “The History Channel Multimedia Classroom,” a breakthrough series of interactive lesson plans.

Most recently he has been working with Independence Energy Homes of Boston, a company of architects, engineers, and financial analysts focused on building zero energy and energy efficient homes.

John R. Quain – Editor

John R. Quain writes regularly for The New York Times and U.S. News & World Report and is the on-air computer reporter for CBS News Up to the Minute, appearing on the television network’s overnight newscast for over 9 years. His articles have appeared in Esquire, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and Spin magazine.

JQ has been reporting on technology, consumer electronics, and related business news for over 20 years. He has appeared on ABC News, CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC, as well as countless local news programs.

In addition to his on-air work, JQ currently contributes articles about business and technology to PC Magazine, Popular Mechanics, and Consumers Digest. Other publications JQ contributes to include Men’s Journal, Men’s Health, and Laptop Magazine.

Previously, JQ was a Contributing Editor at Fast Company magazine for 4 years and at PC Magazine for 9 years. He was also the technology columnist for Brill’s Content magazine, the gadgets columnist at My Generation magazine, the daily Internet columnist for Time Warner’s Pathfinder, and was the computer columnist at The Globe and Mail newspaper.

Tara DellaCamera – Editorial Assistant

Tara DellaCamera has over four years of experience doing web-based research and editing for a graphic design company outside of New Haven. She is a senior studying at Quinnipiac University and is completing a major in English with a minor in Media Studies. Tara has a passion for writing and plans on pursuing a career in journalism. She currently resides in Hamden, CT.

Maxwell Kaye – Associate Publisher

Maxwell Kaye is a recent graduate of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York where he received his B.A. in Environmental Studies.
